Wirtualna Polska Holding, continuing the implementation of its sustainable development strategy, has protected an additional 2 hectares of forest in the buffer zone of the Biebrza National Park and a lesser spotted eagle nest in the Low Beskids (Beskid Niski). Thanks to these efforts, carried out in cooperation with the Natural Heritage Foundation (Fundacja Dziedzictwo Przyrodnicze), the total area of forests protected by the company has increased to 5.5 hectares. Consequently, WP has achieved its strategic goal for 2021-2025 ahead of schedule.
The newly protected area consists of old-growth forest located in the immediate vicinity of one of the most ecologically valuable regions in Poland. Simultaneously, in collaboration with experts, Wirtualna Polska has secured a nest of the lesser spotted eagle – a species under strict protection whose population in Poland is currently declining. These actions are part of the company's long-term commitment to providing tangible support for Polish nature.

Biebrza National Park is one of the most ecologically valuable areas in Poland, and the lesser spotted eagle is an endangered species, which is why their protection is so vital. All activities are conducted with the utmost care for the safety of the protected ecosystems. Due to the risk of disturbing the animals and the impact of human presence (anthropopressure), the exact locations will not be made public.
