Submitting an application to the National Broadcasting Council for a broadcasting license for the transmission of a television programme by a subsidiary of Wirtualna Polska Holding S.A.

Legal basis: Article 56 sec. 1 item 1 of the Act dated 29 July 2005 on Public Offering, the Conditions Governing the Introduction of Financial Instruments to Organised Trading, and Public Companies.

The Management Board of Wirtualna Polska Holding S.A. (“Company”) hereby announces that on September 18th, 2015 the Management Board was informed that on September 18th, 2015 the subsidiary of Company - company under the name of WP1 sp. z o.o. with its registered seat in Warsaw (“WP1”) submitted an application to the National Broadcasting Council (“NBC”) for a broadcasting license for the transmission of a television programme.

The request was submitted in relation to the Announcement of the Council’s Chairman of 24 July 2015 about the possibility of obtaining a license to distribute a television programme for 10 years by digital terrestrial diffusion using the eighth multiplex signal (“MUX8”), published in Official Gazette of the Government of the Republic of Poland on August 4th, 2015. According to the Announcement, the programme will include auditions dedicated to the development of society, economy, culture and societal transformations in modern conditions of a quick technical and technological development. The programme will include auditions dedicated to media education and also will present contents from the new media. The programme will be interactive and friendly to the audience.

Issuer hereby announces that the fee for granting the broadcasting license for 10 years will be charged in accordance with National Broadcasting Council regulation dated 4 December 2012 on charges for granting licenses to transmit radio and television programs and the method of their calculation and would amount to a maximum of PLN 12.945.000,00
Applying for a broadcasting license for the transmission of a television programme transmitted on MUX8 follows the strategy of the Wirtualna Polska capital group, which includes active development of the video area as its important element.
