Registration of word trademarks: wp.pl and wp by a subsidiary of Wirtualna Polska Holding S.A. as a result of ending the dispute with Mr. Leszek Bogdanowicz

Content of Report:
Management Board of Wirtualna Polska Holding S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw ("the Issuer") informs that Polish Patent Office granted the protection of the word trademarks: wp and wp.pl ("Trademarks") as a result of the completion of legal disputes between the Issuer's subsidiary, Grupa Wirtualna Polska S.A. with the registered office in Warsaw (hereinafter “GWP”) and Mr. Leszek Bogdanowicz, as well as the taking by Polish Patent Office of suspended administrative proceedings concerning the registration of Trademarks, as detailed in the Issuer's prospectus approved by Polish Financial Supervision Commission on April 10, 2015 and in the current report no. 31/2015dated October 07, 2015.
In connection with the issuance by Polish Patent Office on June 2, 2017 of the decisions granting protection rights to Trademarks, provided that the charges for protection periods counted from the date of registration of the Trademarks and due to the payment of such fees today, i.e. July 7, 2017, protection of Trademarks shall be deemed to have been fulfilled.
At the same time, yesterday was the deadline for filing complaints about the decisions in the Voivodship Administrative Court in Warsaw, so these decisions are not subject to appeal in the ordinary court-administrative proceedings.
