Wirtualna Polska invests in Superauto24.com

Wirtualna Polska Holding S.A. has concluded an agreement to become the majority shareholder in Superauto24.com, a site aggregating the offers of new cars on the Internet. A 51% stake in the company was purchased for PLN 21.1 million. This way Wirtualna Polska continues the dynamic development of its e-commerce business.

In addition to tourism, fashion, home and interior design and finance, we will also assist Poles in other important decisions such as car purchase and financing. Superauto24.com offers a broad range of new cars from authorized dealers of various brands. The highest standard of service provided by a team of experienced consultants allows individuals and companies to finance the purchase of a new car with a lease or a loan or through a rental arrangement without leaving home. This year alone, Superauto24.com financed new vehicles worth PLN 180 million for two thousand customers. The projected revenues of Superauto24.com for 2018 will are more than PLN 10 million, while normalized EBITDA is projected at PLN 4.3 million.

About 500 thousand new cars are sold every year in Poland. Despite record-breaking growth figures in recent years, Poles are still driving some of the oldest cars in Europe*. Replacement of the fleet will be one of the main growth drivers for the entire market in the coming years.

Wirtualna Polska is a group of companies operating in the media and e-commerce sectors. It owns the Wirtualna Polska horizontal portal.
