In the second quarter of 2025, Wirtualna Polska Holding S.A. generated over PLN 535 million in cash revenue, marking a 43% increase compared to the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA reached nearly PLN 122 million, up 24% year on year. Tourism and acquisitions carried out in this segment continue to be the main performance driver.
Total cash revenues in the first half of 2025 exceeded PLN 900 million, with Q2 alone contributing PLN 535.4 million, a 43% year-on-year increase. WP Holding’s adjusted EBITDA for H1 amounted to PLN 207.7 million, up nearly 14% from the previous year, of which nearly PLN 122 million was generated in the second quarter. Following the completion of the Invia Group acquisition, the tourism segment grew by 73.5% and delivered nearly PLN 55 million in adjusted EBITDA in Q2. Revenues from the advertising and subscription segment remained broadly unchanged compared to last year, with the segment’s EBITDA down by 1% year on year.
"We are pleased with the e-commerce diversification strategy our Group embarked on a decade ago. Once again, tourism is driving our growth for another consecutive quarter. In the Q2 report, we present for the first time the transformative impact of the Invia Group acquisition on WP Holding. Currently, as much as 60% of our revenue comes from the tourism segment", says Jacek Świderski, CEO of Wirtualna Polska Holding S.A. "We also support the idea of introducing a digital tax for global platforms. The key issue is the practice of invoicing from countries such as Ireland for services actually provided in Poland. This practice is legal but it undermines Poland’s budget and disadvantages Polish people, and it should be strongly opposed. We encourage Polish users and advertisers to put pressure on global players to pay their taxes in Poland," adds Jacek Świderski.
In the advertising and subscription segment, WP Holding continues to invest in technological innovation to improve ad effectiveness and boost user engagement. In the first half of the year, the company launched the WPartner for Retailers platform, expanding its advertising network to include retail media spaces – or locations where ads are displayed directly in online stores and marketplaces. At the same time, WP Holding continues to develop its WP Booster product family, which leverages artificial intelligence to optimize campaigns and maximize their performance. In the subscription services segment (Audioteka, Pilot WP), the company focused on data analysis and content personalization to continuously enhance the quality and appeal of its offerings for users.
